By virtue of providing them with connections, or useful information, it does kinda make you seem omniscient - because you know (and share) the right information. And that is a good thing. Thank you again! Yes, our IRL meeting is LONG overdue... 2010, hopefully? Greg Marsh and I actually "met" through (first) Lawrence Ragan Communications' (then) email listserv, then we were both selected to be part of the Ragan Report's inaugural Sound Bites ("experts") panel. This dates back a few years, but we've kept in touch ever since. And have even met in person, when I was visiting Washington, DC. It's kind of cool that I hooked you up with Greg on twitter (but make sure your spouses know that they have nothing to fear!), plus let you know that Greg was in a band (and that I'm the proud owner of a Marsh Brothers Band CD)...and then you went and "booked" them for your IABC/Washington. It makes me feel good to know that I had a (positive) influence on a party that I didn't even attend.... ;-) Now the two of us just have to meet face-to-face, eh?
