And did you notice how you (unconsciously, I think) used the word "instrumental" in that sentence? You could have used "key" or "pivotal" or something like that, but you instinctively used a word related to music. We had Stax on our list but Memphis was so packed, we couldn't fit it in. We also thought we'd drive back via Tupelo, to see his birthplace, but were exhausted by the end of it... so that will have to wait for next time as well.
