I was going to write rant about the Digital Death campaign, because I find it so narcissistic offensive miserable … well, since I can’t even find a word that adequately sums up the horror nausea incredulity (see what I mean?) it evokes in me, I decided not to.

Instead, I’m going to write about something that decidedly gives me value and, I hope, many of you as well.

If you were ever a Girl Guide (I was!) or, as they say in America, Girl Scout, that might be a familiar song to you.

I don’t know why Waltzing Matilda (that’s the name of the song) is so closely identified with the Guiding tradition (anyone care to fill me in?).

Frankly, when I was 11 years old, I didn’t think about stuff like that.

Because it’s a great campfire song?

Left Right Left Right

When I worked at Ruder Finn some years ago, I was told, one day, that I was being moved to an account that I perceived as less than thrilling.

Never one to hide my feelings very well (I know, weird for a former actress, but it’s true), I must have given away how not-excited I was.
